Becky Gonelli, M.S. LPC
Each of us has a story. Our past can influence or shape our lives, but it doesn't define or limit who we are. It doesn't have the power to tell us who we can become. My initial goal is to provide a non-judgmental and safe place for my clients to feel seen, heard and understood. I would like to believe that therapy provides the opportunity to discover and make use of the healing power of our stories to make us stronger. My goal is to help others achieve their potential. I work with ages 3-65.
I am a Registered Play Therapist which requires an additional 150 hours of graduate studies and an additional year of supervision. Children talk and express their feelings through play; using it as their language to tell the story of their world and well-being. Children find my office to be a safe and magical place.
I am versatile in the populations I see. My experience includes working in a school based environment from the elementary level on up to high school students. I worked at an in-patient mental hospital dealing with with adolescents and their families in crisis. I also enjoy working with college students and offer discounted rates.
